MESUT OZIL is a major doubt for the World Cup after suffering with knee problems, according to reports in Germany.

Newspaper Bild report the Arsenal playmaker has been unable to train for the last four days ahead of the tournament in Russia.

Daniel James Completes Man Utd Medical

Daniel James completed a medical at Manchester United on Thursday ahead of finalising his £18m move from Swansea, according to report. United are close to completing a deal for the 21-year-old winger and Wales international, who has one year left on his contract, as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to begin his rebuild of the club. It is understood the initial fee is worth £15m plus an additional £3m in add-ons, with personal terms already agreed. James has returned to the Wales squad preparing for their European Qualifiers against Croatia (Saturday) and Hungary (Tuesday).

Jose Mourinho was hoping not to be the fall guy this week, but the Manchester United boss couldn’t help himself from tripping over at Wembley before England’s Nations League defeat to Spain. Mourinho was strolling into Club Wembley to take his position for the match when he slipped over on the concrete. The Special One dropped to the ground and had a sheepish look on his face as he clambered back up in front of the stunned crowd.
