David De Gea, Young, Salah, Aguero And Others Make BBC 'Team Of The Season' [Photo]

Manchester United Stars David De Gea And Ashley Young have been handed places in Gareth Crooks 'BBC Team Of The Season'.

Spaniard De Gea has been head and shoulders above any other goalkeeper in the league with over 22 clean sheets from 44 matches in all competitions and winning the 'Golden Glove' award for the first time.

Young however, has emerged as a regular under Jose Mourinho since returning from injury in September, making 30 League appearances in total.

The pair have been handed places in Crooks 'Team Of The Season' After solid displays in the 2017-18 campaign.

Daniel James Completes Man Utd Medical

Daniel James completed a medical at Manchester United on Thursday ahead of finalising his £18m move from Swansea, according to report. United are close to completing a deal for the 21-year-old winger and Wales international, who has one year left on his contract, as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to begin his rebuild of the club. It is understood the initial fee is worth £15m plus an additional £3m in add-ons, with personal terms already agreed. James has returned to the Wales squad preparing for their European Qualifiers against Croatia (Saturday) and Hungary (Tuesday).

Jose Mourinho was hoping not to be the fall guy this week, but the Manchester United boss couldn’t help himself from tripping over at Wembley before England’s Nations League defeat to Spain. Mourinho was strolling into Club Wembley to take his position for the match when he slipped over on the concrete. The Special One dropped to the ground and had a sheepish look on his face as he clambered back up in front of the stunned crowd. Football fans were quick to react to the incident on Twitter, with one comparing Mourinho to former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
