Super Eagles winger joins Galatasay from Premier League top side
Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru has joined Turkish topflight side Galatasaray on a season long loan deal from his parent club Everton FC.
The 21-year-old joined the Premier League outfit for a fee around €8 million in the summer of 2016 from KAS Eupen.
And was immediately sent on loan back to Belgium, but this time he spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Anderlecht.
Onyekuru, who made his debut for the Nigeria national team in 2017 scored 10 goals in 28 matches for the Purple & White before suffering a knee injury in December which saw him ruled out for the rest of the season.
He also featured for Anderlecht all of their six Champions League group games last season - an experience his new side will be hoping he will bring to the team when they start their campaign for this term.
Meanwhile, the Turkish League giants after reaching an agreement with their Premier League counterpart said on their official website that Everton will get a sum of €1.2 million in total.
"Professional footballer Henry Chukwuemeka Onyekuru and his club Everton FC (Everton) have agreed to a temporary transfer of the player.
"Accordingly, a net transfer fee of 800,000 Euro will be paid to the football club.
"For football, a net transfer fee of 1.200.000 Euro will be paid for the 2018-2019 football season.
"Talent also will play Super League and the League will receive net $ 10,000 or play in the team's win Turkey Cup competition for each team in UEFA competitions will be paid 5,000 euros net for each win. It will be publicly honored."
Onyekuru while reacting to his recent move, the 21-year-old said he was delighted with the move and pledges his commitment to help them achieve success during his stay at the club.
"I’m so excited to start my new journey with the biggest team in Turkey! I will do all I can to help the team achieve more success. I am grateful for this opportunity."

The 20-year-old sustained a terrible injury while in action for Anderlecht against his former side KAS Eupen in December 22, 2017.
However, he posted a video of himself on social media in light workout where he expressed his excitement to in anticipation of his return to full fitness soon.
