Zinedine Zidane set for big money move to Qatar national team
Former Real Madrid record breaking manager, Zinedine Zidane has been linked with a shock move to Qatar to take over their national team.
This is coming just one day after the former France international quit his post as Madrid manager.
Zinedine Zidane has reportedly been offered a four year deal worth £50 million per year (Tax Free) as the new manager of the Qatar national team in preparation for 2022 Fifa World Cup holding in Qatar.
He was earning £8 million at Madrid as at the time he resigned.
Though Zidane had yesterday said he would not manage a club side next season. He said;
“I’m not going to coach any other team next season. I spoke with (Sergio) Ramos who respected my decision and wished me luck,”
An offer of around 120,000-a-day from the Qatar Football Association could convince Zidane to shelve his planned sabbatical from football.
