 Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has followed his words with action having earlier assured that he would be rooting for the Super Eagles in Russia.

Aubameyang laid down his support for his 'friend' Alex Iwobi and the Super Eagles team and his request for the eye-catchy Super Eagles jersey has also bee met. The Gabonese star who blamed his sides World Cup qualification failure on a 'cursed orange' tweeted his support for the Nigerian national team in the tournament.



 The Gabonese national team captain, Aubameyang also revealed that he is supporting Nigeria because of the aesthetically designed Super Eagles jersey by Nike which he has now been pictured flexing with.

Jose Mourinho was hoping not to be the fall guy this week, but the Manchester United boss couldn’t help himself from tripping over at Wembley before England’s Nations League defeat to Spain. Mourinho was strolling into Club Wembley to take his position for the match when he slipped over on the concrete. The Special One dropped to the ground and had a sheepish look on his face as he clambered back up in front of the stunned crowd. Football fans were quick to react to the incident on Twitter, with one comparing Mourinho to former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
