MANCHESTER City striker Sergio Aguero smokes a shisha pipe and risks the wrath of boss Pep Guardiola. Footage of the Argentinian, 30, puffing away with model Lola Magnin, 18, was posted on Instagram. The ten second clip shows the smirking star inhaling before blowing out smoke. The Argentine frontman can be seen on his own hookah pipe and Lola with another. It has been rumoured he is dating the blonde who has recently travelled to the UK. A source said: “It doesn’t look good.” “He is supposed to be an elite sportsman - one of the world’s best - and a role model at the end of the day. “It doesn’t send out a good message to young fans.” Aguero – City’s record ever scorer with 206 goals - bagged a hat-trick for the Premier League champions against Huddersfield in their second game of the season. He played on their 1-1 draw with Wolves yesterday but failed to find the net. Aguero has denied he was in a relationship with Lola – who dated Argentine rapper Duki, but admi...

Barcelona superstar Gerard Pique has explained that he would be happy if his club can sign Manchester United star Paul Pogba before the end of the summer transfer. Karius signing ‘announced’ by Besiktas with accidental Twitter change

Image
LORIS KARIUS’ Liverpool stint appears to be coming to an end after Besiktas posted a picture of the goalkeeper on their Twitter page before then removing it. The German shot-stopper had been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer following the arrival of Alisson from Roma for £67million. Turkish side Besiktas were widely tipped to be the destination for the 25-year-old although no official confirmation had been forthcoming. But a subtle change to their official club banner would suggest that may not be far away as Karius' name was flashed across the new version. That was also accompanied with a picture of the keeper in the club’s colours before the club then swiftly removed it. It would bring an end to a turbulent few months for Karius who was at fault for two goals during Liverpool’s 3-1 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last summer. Manager Jurgen Klopp came out in defence of his player afterwards and he still supported him despite further clangers in pre-...

Manchester United fans to fly ‘Ed Woodward out’ plane banner

Image
MANCHESTER UNITED fans have paid for a plane to fly a protest banner calling for the head of supremo Ed Woodward. And things are getting worse for Jose Mourinho with a number of top stars believing he could be gone soon. The banner aimed at Woodward and club owners the Glazers will be flown over Turf Moor for United’s game at Burnley a week on Sunday. It will state ED OUT — LUHG, the initials standing for Love United Hate Glazer. It is telling that fans have decided to target the executive vice-chairman and not under pressure manager Mourinho, who is battling to keep his dressing room together. The fans wanted to fly the banner over Old Trafford on Bank Holiday Monday for the televised evening clash with Spurs. However, issues about flying a banner at that time, even shortly before the 8pm kick-off, led to plans being scrapped. The Burnley protest will be the first time United fans have staged this sort of stunt since a section turned on David Moyes. Their banner rea...

Mourinho's Third season jinx

Two Champions Leagues, eight domestic titles and 15 cup triumphs. Jose Mourinho's sides know how to win - so why is it the Portuguese tends to bow out after three seasons at a club? Just once has Mourinho made it into a fourth campaign, only to leave Chelsea before Christmas during his first spell at Stamford Bridge. The 55-year-old is now entering his third season as Manchester United manager, but is already being touted as the next Premier League boss to leave his job. So what leads to Mourinho heading for the exit after season three? And do his sides actually perform worse than the previous two campaigns? we examines the evidence. Having begun his managerial career with a short stint at Benfica, Mourinho enjoyed a successful half-season with Uniao de Leiria that led to Porto appointing the then 39-year-old in January 2002.
