The Red Devils are keeping their millions of supporters around the globe waiting to see what their heroes will be wearing on their travels this season. In partnership with Adidas, United have released their new red home jersey and the navy blue design for their third kit. But website FootyHeadlines claim to have got the scoop on what Jose Mourinho’s men will be wearing away from home. And it is certainly eye-catching to say the least. The new away kit combines a pale pink base with a slightly darker tone for the for the trim and Adidas stripes. Reports suggest that Chelsea have beaten competition from the likes of Juventus and Monaco for the signature of CSKA Moscow and Russia international midfielder Aleksandr Golovin with indications that the player may be set for a medical today. Golovin has reportedly been the subject of two bids from the Italian Old Ladies, while there was confirmation yesterday that Ligue 1 outfit Monaco made an offer for the Russia star. However, Calciomercato is citing BBC sources in Russia who have disclosed that CSKA Moscow have accepted a bid from Chelsea for Golovin on a five-year contract. Golovin has reportedly agreed terms in principle and a medical could take place as soon as today. It is believed that the influence of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and chief executive Marina Granovskaia may have made the difference for the club in the race for the player.

Defender Daley Blind has completed his move from Manchester United to former club Ajax, for a fee that could eventually rise to £18.5m. Blind, 28, joined United from Ajax for £13.8m in 2014, when fellow Dutchman Louis van Gaal was in charge. The Netherlands international was a regular under Van Gaal - but his appearances have reduced since Jose Mourinho arrived at Old Trafford. "To play for the biggest club in the world meant a lot," Blind tweeted. "I had a great four years with four trophies. I want to thank everyone, I will never forget some of the special games and moments, but now it's time to go home." Blind played in both the 2016 FA Cup final and the following year's Europa League final victory over Ajax. It is understood the Dutch club will pay an initial £14m to re- sign Blind on a four-year deal.

Police in Paris said they arrested 102 people celebrating France's victory over Croatia in the World Cup final after demonstrations began to turn violent. Michel Delpuech, the chief of the Paris Police Prefecture, said in a news conference on Monday morning that a majority of those arrested were celebrating along the Champs Elysees, with 90 of them remaining in custody. Delpuech said, however, that "given the risks inherent in this type of situation," there had been "no major situation" reported. According to Le Parisien, one man was hospitalised and remains in serious condition after taking a blow to the head in the city. Police had to use tear gas and riot gear to quell some of the more unruly crowds, which included people damaging windows and looting shops along Paris' most famous avenue.
